This is called “blockchain bloat”, and it was a problem w Bitcoin & others...but it’s a race to the bottom when it exists in “DEX” chains ran off of PoS (non-blockchain ; no trustless consensus).
Things like this decrease the plausibility of anyone *but* the creators of the chain running any nodes on the network to near zero.
