Have you been to Abdulla Oripov Square?

🛜 Do you know that it has fancy fountains and free Wi-Fi?

🌟Abdulla Oripov is one of the great sons of Kashkadarya. He is the author of the national anthem of Uzbekistan. To inspire the young and artistic minds of Kashkadarya, the government opened an art school named after Abdulla Oripov and built a monument in Karshi City!

📷When you pay a visit to Abdulla Oripov Square or school do not forget to take a photo with the monument to Abdulla Oripov. Slowly but surely the monument is becoming one of the tourist attractions and a favorite destination.

We are waiting for you in our lovely city of Karshi!

In the southern part of Karshi Registan, a brilliant example of architectural ingenuity awaits you: the Sardoba.🌟
Meaning "cold water" in the Persian-Tajik language, the Sardoba is a remarkable water structure that was popular in Central Asia.

🫂Karshi was a significant hub for the construction of Sardobas, particularly along the major caravan routes. Historical archives reveal that approximately 44 Sardobas existed in Central Asia, with 29 of them located in Karshi. This not only highlights the architectural prowess of Karshi but also speaks to the ingenuity and problem-solving abilities of the people who resided there.

❤️Today, the Sardoba has become the official symbol of the Karshi City logotype, serving as a testament to its historical significance and architectural splendor.

Greetings, dear adventurers!🏔

Are you ready for a journey through time and history? 🕰

Today, we have an exciting destination to share with you - the Odina Mosque in Karshi. This magnificent mosque was built in the 14th century by Amir Temur, a powerful ruler who laid the foundations of a centralized country in Central Asia. It was one of the largest buildings in the Karshi Registan, boasting minarets and a spacious courtyard. But that's not all - beneath the mosque lies a network of hidden underground tunnels, rumored to have been used by the Mongol ruler Kebekhan for emergencies and secret passages because, before the place of Odina Mosque, there was a palace of Kebekhan. How interesting, huh?

So, what are you waiting for? Come and explore the wonders of Odina Mosque and experience the magic of Karshi for yourself!✨
