Hi all. On Tuesday next week I have an appointment with a solicitor who is very sympathetic to our cause and who says he is willing to represent our group and run our case.

As soon as I have more information I will let the whole group know. I don't want to make announcements about things until they're confirmed because I don't want to get peoples hopes up and then let them down.

I've already been let down by a couple of solicitors who initially seemed promising so until I have something concrete to announce, I will hold off.

Please just know that we have not quit working in the background and as soon as we have something confirmed we will make an announcement here.

Our 'Letter of Position' will be served this week, it's just getting signed off and finalised.
The next step will be to commence a class action, the early stages of this are underway!
We are organising a zoom with our consultant from HRA and I will email the link to you all. You can keep your camera off if you prefer, however this will be a great space to ask questions and understand where we go to from here. We will update on here when the link has been sent out!

Things to do!!!
Guys we really need everyone to start making noise and getting shit done! Please start doing the tasks from the 'steps to take' letter in our last email!
Get vocal with you MPs, get an appointment with your doctor and ask the questions provided! Contact FairWork etc!!
We can't just hope that everyone else will do these things! We all need to do it!

Apologies. Just didn't want this to get lost.
I was at work.
Today we had the first day of collecting everyone's vaccine information.

The process was done by an SCO at the front gate.
You have a tick and flick sheet where you write down your address and area of concern and the SCO asks to see your vaccination proof of you tick you're vaccinated.
And the paperwork was just put in a large pile of paperwork in the gate.

So much for professional or confidential. You'd think they'd at least assign a nurse to that job.

It would appear that a number of staff, in particular community staff in LGAs of concern are receiving personal written correspondence asking to have their proof of vaccination by the 23rd Sept. Please DO NOT RESPOND AT THIS STAGE. I am.seeking further legal advice in relation to these emails. I will hopefully have some more information for you tomorrow. You are in fact complying with Public Health Orders by being at home, so please refrain from responding and HOLDTHELINE

Guys, I cannot say too much at the moment but there has been some more positive developments (I know things are changing on a daily basis but we are doing all this on the fly). If things go the way I hope they will, we will be looking at hiring absolutely TOP FLIGHT, TOP LEVEL representation and piggy backing off a larger, better organised movement where there is considerable overlap with our own case, thus considerably reducing costs for us. Stay tuned, we will know more early next week as I will be speaking with the relevant parties on Monday. Do not lose hope and please HOLD THE LINE. We are going to be BRINGING THE FIGHT!
