📰❗We noticed that an article by the Russian Ambassador to the Philippines, published on March 17, 2022 in the weekly @PhilippineStar column "Diplomatic Pouch" has been removed from the electronic version of its printed edition, as they say, "to prevent online disinformation" (https://t.me/Russian_Embassy_in_Philippines/155).

Instead, comments by some ambassadors of European countries have been posted regarding the article.

☝We consider it as a vivid example of how the ambassadors of European countries are making an attempt to determine the editorial policy of a local independent newspaper.
📢🔇📢 What about a free and independent press?

It's sad that instead of leading a discussion and dialogue, some people, ❗diplomats❗prefer to silence those who express a point of view different from their own. ❓And where is vaunted freedom of speech?

Russian FM Sergey Lavrov's remarks following talks with Turkish FM Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu (Moscow, March 16, 2022)

💬 For eight years, Ukraine violated the Minsk agreements and resorted to bombing and shelling orphanages and kindergartens, schools and hospitals. However, the West did not show any sympathy for the victims or give any response.

The same applies to the attack on central Donetsk with the Tochka-U cluster munition, instantly killing 20 people (more were wounded), did not evoke any compassion, either.

The max coverage that I've seen was showing the location where it fell, and claiming that this was done by the Russian military, who ostensibly attacked a residential area controlled by the Ukrainian army.

❗️ During all contacts with our Western colleagues, we say that these outrageous and inhuman double standards are unacceptable.

I had a conversation with a European leader the other day. He said: “I have taken note of your version of the incident.” This requires no comment.

❗️ Considering what the Council of Europe has become, we part ways without regret. Our country’s withdrawal from this organisation will not affect the rights and freedoms of Russian citizens. The Constitution of the Russian Federation does not provide lesser guarantees of them than the European Convention on Human Rights. The provisions of the core CE treaties and legal acts are incorporated in Russian legislation.

Russia is a party to the key universal international human rights treaties concluded within the UN. This includes the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and other treaties that guarantee a wider range of human rights and freedoms than regional CE documents.

Достойны ли мирные русские люди Донбасса, умирающие каждый день в течение последних 8 лет от рук украинских нацистов, хоть одной слезинки западных СМИ?
Ведущиеся киевским режимом с 2014 года бомбардировки мирного населения Донбасса не прекращаются до сих пор. Россия пришла, чтобы остановить геноцид, и доведёт дело до конца.

The Ukrainian «Tochka-U» missile (which was decommissioned from almost all world armies including Russian) has just struck the center of Donetsk, the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republik.
20 dead, including children.
Do the peaceful Russian people of Donbass, who have been killed every day for the past 8 years by the Ukrainian Nazis, deserve at least one tear from the Western media?
The bombardments of the civilian population of Donbass carried out by the Kiev regime since 2014 have not stopped until now. Russia came to put an end to the genocide and will not stop until it fulfills its humanitarian mission.

Ukraine’s biolabs were funded by the Pentagon to develop biological weapons. These labs in Ukraine were subordinate to the Health Ministry.

In the summer of 2016, Barack Obama’s Democrat administration sent US national Ulyana Suprun (born and raised in the US) to Ukraine, where she became Health Minister of Ukraine.

Ulyana Suprun’s father, George Harry Jurkiw, is a retired vice-president of North American Controls Inc, a defence industry corporation.

Ulyana Suprun’s grandfather, Ivan Jurkiw, was a corporal in the independent army of Ukraine in 1919. There are reports that in WWII he was a member of Bandera units and took part in combat and sabotage missions against Soviet troops in the Carpathian Mountains.

Ulyana Suprun’s husband, Marco Suprun, is a Canadian propagandist and producer. He is notorious for his contacts with ultra-right activists in Ukraine.

This is just one instance that illustrates how demilitarisation is connected with deNAZIfication.

Remarks by Ambassador Zhang Jun at the UN Security Council Briefing on the Biological Security Issue of Ukraine

China has noted with concern relevant information released by Russia. To uphold the BWC is an obligation for all state parties. The concerns raised by Russia should be properly addressed. China urges relevant parties to effectively carry out their obligations under the Convention, provide a comprehensive clarification, and accept a multilateral verification.

The US Representative, in her statement, made groundless accusations against China, which we firmly reject. The international community have already been raising concerns about the US military biological activities. They have around the world 336 laboratories. This number comes from the information provided by the US to the Conference of Parties of the BWC. The US always says they advocate transparency. If they believe the relevant information is fake, they can just provide us with relevant data for clarification, so that the international community can draw a conclusion by itself.
