Google is rebranding Bard to Gemini and introducing a new Gemini Android app

Google Bard was based on Google Palm 2 LLM (Large Language model) which Google announced almost one year ago.

Then Google announced Gemini at its I/O event in May 2023 as its new LLM to replace Palm 2.
At that point, Bard transitioned from PaLM 2 to Gemini Pro.

Now, Google is rebranding Bard to Gemini which is based on Gemini Pro model
bard.google.com will also now redirect to gemini.google.com

Google has launched Gemini Advanced as well for solving highly complex tasks.
It is Google's MOST powerful AI model yet and is based on Gemini Ultra 1.0 model

Google has also announced Google One AI Premium plan costing $19.99 for US, €21.99 for EU & Rs.1950 in India per month

This plan provides access to Gemini Advanced with the Ultra 1.0 model, 2TB storage & Google VPN too
Google is also offering a 2-month FREE trial on this plan

FunFact: Redmi Note 13 series & Poco X6 series feature a Virtual Proximity Sensor

Poco has mentioned that X6 Pro features a Proximity sensor on the Poco Global website including the UK's and even on India's Flipkart

However, it uses a "virtual" proximity sensor to offer the PATHETIC experience to its loyal Poco & Xiaomi meat riders

Since Poco X6 pro is a rebranded Redmi K70E in China, Redmi did NOT mention that it has a proximity sensor on its Mi China website

But Poco however as usual is fooling everyone by writing FAKE specifications for its products

Note: This CANNOT be fixed by Custom ROMs as some people believe that Xiaomi hardware specs are good, so just change the software using Custom ROMS 🤓

Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus also does NOT offer physical proximity sensors and Xiaomi doesn't mention having it either in China

However, on the Mi India website, it's mentioned having a proximity sensor!

HMD is dropping its Nokia branding for smartphones

HMD Global is a smartphone maker that has exclusive rights to the Nokia branding name and sells smartphones & tablets under the Nokia brand.

Nokia in-turn receives royalty payments from HMD Global for each Nokia-branded phone that HMD sells

HMD got Nokia branding rights in 2016 and as a part of 10yr agreement, the contract will end in 2026, which is almost 2yrs away

Human Mobile Devices (HMD Global) will start selling its own devices without the Nokia branding marking now.
Additionally, the Nokia.com/phones now directs users to HMD Global’s website.

The first batch of HMD-branded handsets are codenamed: Legend and Pulse
Each series will come in 3 variants: Regular, Plus and Pro

One of the smartphones will come in CYAN color.
It will feature a 108MP main camera with OIS as well

HMD will showcase its smartphones at its MWC event and will launch them by April in India

Since Realme equipped the 12 Pro Plus with a 64MP 3x Periscope Telephoto with 120x Zoom, the company thinks that it Realme 12 Pro Plus is a flagship device now

They noted that the 200MP Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is their main competitor but they even got the balls to compare it with S23 Ultra & even the iPhone 15 Pro Max

But they forgot that "so-called flagship" Realme 12 Pro+ also features:

#Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Benchmarks scores LEAKED!

The upcoming Snapdragon 8 gen 4 will use Nuvia-based Phoenix instead of ARM cores. Since Apple and Nuvia both use ARM Instruction Set but not the arm cores Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will also be fully custom like the Apple A-series chips

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 CPU:
2× Nuvia Phoenix large
6× Nuvia Phoenix Medium
Manufactured by TSMC on its 3nm process (N3B)

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Geekbench 6 scores:
Single-core: 2845
Multi-core: 10625
AnTuTu scores: 3133570

These have been "leaked" because you can see Geekbench 6.1 "Corporate" for the Android version

Also, it says "qli Lahaina for nuvia" which means that its based on Lahaina.
In other words, It's tested on Lahaina with Nuvia chiplets

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is also rumoured to run at 4GHz even!

However, the power consumption is concerning

Double Big Core: 9.32W
