- Attention! Currently, false news is being spread on well-known channels such as "Middle East Spectator" about an alleged Israeli attack on a church.

It is claimed that Israeli air strikes attacked a church with refugees.

Such reports are false.

‼️ This is plain wrong. The town is called "Knayse" which rhymes with the word for church in arabic "Knise". But no church was struck

- NEWS - #Russia is considering a plan to merge Russia's three largest oil companies (Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Lukoil) into one oil giant.

The resulting company will become the world's second-largest oil producer after Saudi Arabia's (#KSA) Aramco. The merger will allow Putin to strengthen control over the country's economy in the conditions of war and sell oil to #India and #China (PRC) at higher prices.

A giant exporter could better withstand Western sanctions that have hampered exports, hampered major new oil and gas projects and held up payments, sources said. Supporters of the plan say the combined company could make significantly more money. Oil from all three companies could be sold through Lukoil's massive Dubai-based trading unit, Litasco.

- NEWS - China Price Growth Stays Near Zero as Deflation Persists

#China’s (PRC) consumer inflation was anemic in October while factory-gate prices continued falling, suggesting the government’s latest round of stimulus is far from sufficient to free the economy from the grip of deflation.

The consumer price index rose 0.3% from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said Saturday, compared with a 0.4% gain in the previous month. The median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg was for the reading to stay unchanged from September.

- BREAKING - ICC to investigate alleged misconduct by war crimes prosecutor, sources say

The International Criminal Court's governing body will launch an external investigation into its chief prosecutor Karim Khan over alleged sexual misconduct, two sources familiar with the matter said on Friday.

Khan is called on in an internal document circulated to member states to temporarily step down from his role at the world's permanent war crimes court, based in The Hague, while an inquiry is ongoing.

The undated and unsigned document, seen by Reuters, was circulated to member states by ICC staff.

Khan's office referred questions to his attorney and phone calls and repeated requests for comment sent to his lawyers went unanswered.

Khan has denied allegations of misconduct that were reported to the court's governing body last month. At that time he asked the court's own internal oversight body to investigate them.
