Hunt saboteurs are experienced in using non-violent direct action tactics to save the lives of thousands of hunted animals every season.

Hunt Saboteurs are the compassionate line of defence for wildlife. As an organisation, it consists of individuals from various walks of life who realise the positive impact they can have. Saboteurs come from all walks of life and adheres to antifascist principles and horizontal organising structures. Though a governing body exists (the Hunt Saboteurs Association), which works as a supportive network, groups govern themselves and operate according to the challenges they face subject to their local hunting 'country'. The strength, knowledge and dedication from those involved is something that many other organisations could only dream of.

Sabotaging a hunt requires planning, a variation of skills and luck. Scenting conditions, weather and how quarry will respond to given situations are all uncontrollable factors that can make or break a days sabbing efforts. Sometimes the odds are against you and the hunted animal, while other times these factors work against the efforts of the huntsmen. Knowing the meet inside and out is a great benefit. Huntsmen often are creature of habit and follow predictable routes - starting here, casting there, double backing there.
