A lifetime prison sentence it's like keeping people in coma "alive" for 30-50 years, or treat an "almost dead" person for 20 years = "it's just an huge waste of public money for nothing" (to say facts in a direct way, that maybe someone is calling "rude") and we need to remember we have serious financial issues (even if most people give a shit to that, like they do for all other problems we have), because people get older and older, fertility is decreasing, plus public debts are increasing @DebtTelegram ... so ignoring assisted suicide, which would even reduce a lot of costs, is not a solution.
Which type of life can a people have waking up 30 years later having a coma, like leaving a prison after 50 years ... the world is totally different, people / trends, etc. are not the same or already dead ...
Getting a decent job is almost impossible too ... We need to be honest, it's not like having a coma for few weeks / months ...
So, if this is the desire of the patient, then good, we should respect that, but we still need to remember "does this really make sense?".
Reason why filling the living wills is huge important! If the person is saying NO, then we stop the therapy immediately:

Back to the death sentence:
In Switzerland you can kill 1000 people, and you still get min 15-17 years of prisons

Rules related to crimes are just fucking ridiculous and related to animal crimes even more ... They should get a whole refresh.
54% of Swiss voters had decided to abolish the death penalty = means 46% where still favour and many people are not voting too https://perma.cc/MB6N-UVHT
Why The Death Penalty is Wrong https://perma.cc/7F99-BVNY
The death penalty is inhumane —> killing and raping people is instead humane?
As a tool for control, not justice —> this is why you should be 100% sure the person did the crime
Doesn’t deter crime —> reason why death sentence should not happen immediately
