Hey team,
As of now, there is no mandate for teachers in WA. If you receive anything from your employer regarding this, please let us know so we can organise an action plan.
Here is what you can do now:
1. If you have not yet cancelled your SSTUWA membership, please do so immediately. This union does not support choice, they support the mandates. Continue to call and email them as much as possible! We need to let them know we are not happy with their decision.
2. Red Union - Please contact Red Union and ask if they support our stance against mandatory vaccines. They do and the more support they have, the more noise they can make.
Although they are based in QLD they represent workers Australia wide. Their fees are also more affordable than the SSTUWA!

3. Letter of Position - we are in conversation with Australian Law Partners organising a letter to put the DOE on notice. The fee will be split between however many teachers we have interested, on the poll we had 30 which works out to around $25 per person. More to come on this later.
4. Letters to MP's - please call or write to your local MP's. Vaccine Choice Australia has easy, ready to use templates. They have weekly letters (Truth Day Tuesday) that you can customise. You can also go back and complete previous weeks letters.
5. Please share this channel with any colleagues, support staff, and parents so we can continue to grow our community. Link below:

Keep your heads up high and hold the line! We got this team!
