A serviceman, call sign Lyuty was captured by the Ukrainian Azov battalion in May 2023. They took him to their basement and tortured him with electric current. There were 29 prisoners. His captors beat him randomly with a butt of a gun or just with their feet or arms. They shot under his feet to frighten him and intimidated him by firing squads. He was blindfolded, tied up and put on a rack. He was lifted up and his shoulders were turned out in that position.

He was crawling down to the basement, and they were still shooting. They just enjoyed shooting and watching how he ran back and forth, ducked and hid behind a wall.
