We peered into the past and learned about the history of Engineer Rex during his exile. What a tragic fate… A fate that led to the rescue of the dogs of Dogtown.

We witness the present: holders of winning NFTs from Lost Dogs: Consequences have received $WOOF in their gaming balances. The excitement around the free collection we dropped through Pearls surprised us and once again confirmed that NFTs on TON are great. We will continue to add meaning to our collections!

⚪️ A whirlwind of terrible visions erupted in Rex’s mind. Ancient pyramids, Adam, the Cursed Wastelands, Gavkus, Dogtown… The entire history of the dogs flashed before his eyes.

🐈‍⬛ And at the center of all their suffering, he saw the Cat: the betrayal of the gods who once protected them, families consumed in hellish flames, endless torment in the Cursed Wastelands, and finally, the inevitable apocalypse — a blinding flash, the explosion of a bomb that consumed everything.

Rex slowly opened his eyes. The scorched wasteland stretched out before him, a glimpse of the same future awaiting his city — the one he still called home. The fear and hatred of his kin no longer troubled him, nor did his altered, alien body. His entire being was now focused on the looming explosion, the catastrophe he was destined to stop.

✨ In his heart burned love and unshakable will — the last true wonders of this cursed world.

🎡 In the center stood a towering Ferris wheel. It was a tempting option — from its height, he could safely survey the surroundings without risking himself.

🛍 His hunger, however, reminded him of something else — a small, old shop appeared to still stand nearby. Maybe it held some supplies, and it might be worth replenishing his energy first.

Where should Rex go: explore the dangerous area, get a safe view from above, or dig through the remnants of the abandoned store for food?

☀️ Rex entered the deserted city, where the sand and walls absorbed all sound from the outside. The ruined buildings stood like ghosts of the past, weathered by time and sand. Once, life had thrived here, but now the dry earth consumed everything. Thin streams of sand trailed across the streets, hiding the footprints of those long gone. Rex paused by one of the houses, running his hand over the rough wall. The silence was heavy, yet strangely calming.

🥋 As he wandered through the empty streets, looking at the ruined and abandoned buildings, Rex began to understand the true reason for his exile. It wasn’t hatred or malice from his former comrades, as he had thought. He remembered their wary glances, the fear in their eyes when his mutations became too obvious, when he was no longer who he once was. Fear of the unknown, of what they couldn’t control or understand, had driven their decision.

🧿 This realization slowly seeped into his heart, and the heavy feeling of resentment that had consumed him for so long began to fade. He understood that their actions were driven by fear, not hatred. This revelation led him to forgiveness. He let go of the pain and anger, forgiving them—not for hating him, but for fearing him.

🐶 But with this came a deeper understanding—he had to forgive not just them, but also himself. The silence of the abandoned city became a symbol of the inner peace he had long ignored. In this quiet, amid the desolation and loneliness, he finally allowed himself to accept his own mistakes and changes.
