An anonymous activist compiled a list of 367 neo-Nazi and white supremacist Telegram channels to illustrate how the secure messaging platform is now home to the internet’s most hardcore far-right communities.

Nothing is more diligent and intelligent than the hound, for he has more intelligence than other beasts. And hounds know their own names. And love their lords; and defend the houses of their lords; and put themselves willfully in peril of death for their lords; and run to take prey with their lords; and do not forsake the dead body of their lords.’ - Bartholomaeus Anglicus

Contrary to popular belief, (most) castle walls (interior and exterior) weren't bare stone, as depicted in many films, books and paintings. Like the building depicted, they were covered with a layer of lime (recipes and colours varied between locations). This way a castle looked more beautiful and caught the eye from far away, furthermore with the interior walls coated in white, light would bounce around the rooms and hallways, making the interior much brighter. Bedroom walls and great halls were also covered with beautiful and intricate paintings
