In memoriam Jan Palach 🇨🇿Le 16 janvier 1969, Jan Palach, un jeune étudiant tchèque de 20 ans s'immole par le feu à Prague pour protester contre l'occupation soviétique de son pays.
La mort du jeune homme aura un retentissement à travers tout le pays : une procession réunira plusieurs dizaines de milliers de participants à Prague et l'anticommunisme de la population sera ravivé.

memoriam Jan Palach 🇨🇿On January 16, 1969, Jan Palach, a 20-year-old Czech student, burned himself to death in Prague to protest against the Soviet occupation of his country.
The young man's death will have an impact throughout the country: a procession will gather several tens of thousands of participants in Prague and the anticommunism of the population will be revived.
Better dead than red!
