Tikum was founded on September 15 2021 by founder Samuel Barnabas and Rajendra Zeydan Naratama.

The name Tikum itself has an abbreviation, namely "gathering point" which is a gathering place for boys who are taught to always have a sense of kinship and uphold solidarity.

Tikum stands tall using the principle of "fall and get up together" yang artinya jatuh bangun bersama.
