🔍 What about TON? Well, everything's fine.
1. Our favorite blockchain continues to evolve, its performance has become even more stable, and its popularity among ordinary users is growing, including abroad. For example, Japan is preparing to add TON to the regulated stock markets, and in the Philippines it will be possible to pay social contributions to USDt in the TON network.
2. Guys from the TON Core wrote a new wallet smart contract code under version 5.0. For big players, multisig and MPC are being implemented in the smart contracts, when multiple signatures are used to validate a transaction rather than a single signature, which eliminates the possibility of losing funds due to hacking of one of the holders. On the downside, if one of the signature holders suddenly dies or goes missing, the funds will remain permanently frozen. From the important changes of the 5.0 wallet:
3. Additionally, the Ledger hardware wallet gained support for TON in December 2023, and this week the blockchain functionality on the wallet was significantly expanded with support for NFT and staking. You can read the full list of improvements right here.
4. The number of validators has reached the 389 mark and the coins involved in the validation have reached $4.5 billion.

Also, there are plans for TON to attract half a billion users until 2028 year. And what are your expectations for blockchain?

Network commissions have been optimized.
Possibility to expand wallet functionality with the help of new format plugins:
— Decentralized subscriptions, including USDt subscriptions.

It's nice to see TON becoming a truly global blockchain, with enthusiasts creating interesting and striking projects every day, where everyone can earn (or lose, DYOR). On the downside of TON's simplicity and accessibility, there is a lot of fraud, when literally any dishonest scammer can create his own project or a coin in a second and then deceive users. Be careful!
