Few reasons why TikTok Desktop CAN NOT replace TikTok app, even if workflows work 1000x better on desktop?
1) searching content is 1000x better
2) settings / favourites are not limited like on Desktop
3) video upload and video editing, plus we 99% think that TikTok is decreasing views for videos uploaded with a browser!
4) songs are better implemented, you can use TikTok songs when you upload videos too
5) TikTok is full of CapCut suggestions (or ads)
6) multi account (possible with multi browsers ... too, in such case you can use even more TikTok accounts)
7) even if full of ads, ads are more young oriented compared to ads on other socials. As we and scientific search said the focus of TikTok ads is showing generally a girl doing something young people are doing.
8) related to 5, finding new songs. TikTok is the only social able to let you discover new good songs, even if the video is shit ... this work a bit better on desktop, due to 4, 5 and 1.

10) as we reported 10000000000x times, TikTok For You works 100000x better on iOS than on Desktop
