Hey, I was in the commuter line today, on my way to meet some friends, when I stood and stared at the place that we used to share. I was still staring at the space that we used to share when suddenly a line from Paper Thin Hotel hit me,
"A heavy burden lifted from my soul I heard that love was out of my control"
Maybe that's just how it is, how it always has been, and always will be. I'm still trying to learn the art of letting go. A place is indeed just a place, but the memories lingers. Nothing is ever promised, not every today leads to a tomorrow. Yesterday's sweetness may turn into tomorrow bitterness.
