The comparison of the Bitcoin chart with the Gold chart and the Nasdaq100 technological index chart indicates that all the 3 assets are similar in price movements. The only difference is that bitcoin is significantly ahead of these assets by time.

The market capitalization has tripled in the previous six months, reaching 40% of the January 2018 maximums. Many coins have begun to re-emerge from the crisis of 2018 and refreshed the year maximums.

We have investigated how far are the Top-20 coins from the new historic maximums. It occurs that BNB, BSV and LINK have the least left to reach the new peaks.

In consequence of the growth of the main cryptocurrency and the fall of the TOP altcoins, the BTCX index has reached a figure of 78%, updating the maximum of this year.
Note that BTCX is an analogue of the dollar index for classical financial markets. It is calculated as the capitalization of Bitcoin divided by the capitalization of the TOP5 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin.

After the beginning of the bull run of Bitcoin, we have decided to track down how trading volume and blockchain indicators have been changing from mid-2017 to present

1. Trading volumes increased one and a half times from the maxima of 2017.
2. With an increase of the network activity, commissions rose to $5 (to the level of January 2018).
3. After a 35% drop in November 2018, the Bitcoin network hashrate and difficulty set new records.
4. The number of transactions has increased significantly since May 2019. On May 2, 2019, the second result in the history was shown, with a number of 452,000 transactions per day.
