Does it matter how much the United States reduces its carbon dioxide emissions if China doesn’t do the same?
Yes
, it matters. Observed and anticipated increases in greenhouse gas emissions from China and other countries don’t let Americans off the hook for reducing emissions. From a purely physical perspective, any reduction in emissions helps minimize future temperature increases. From the perspective of fairness, the United States has released more heat-trapping gases to date than either China or India, the world’s two most populous countries.

Carbon dioxide is a long-lived greenhouse gas that can linger in Earth’s atmosphere for thousands of years. Consequently, the United States bears more responsibility for the amount of warming that has occurred so far and will persist for millennia https://perma.cc/5TMZ-6B3R

Our countries all in one. Countries who have in part an excuses for polluting our planet! since crazy 🥶 is synonym of pollution! but again JUST IN PART!

even if ❄️ doesn't mean you need to use ♨️!

Exactly like the need of 🚙 in countries like 🇮🇸, 🇬🇱 ... or 🌋 in 🇮🇸 (which have a small impact)

The sources of electricity generation are more diverse in Germany compared to Denmark as shown by the comparison of electricity production and renewable energy resources. Non-renewable sources still produce the majority of the electricity in Germany (53%), among them coal, natural gas, and nuclear power. Due to geographical circumstances, Germany has a higher potential to use hydro and solar power. Denmark produces most of its electricity from wind and biomass. Only 18% of the electricity is still produced from non-renewable sources like coal and natural gas.

Coal (lignite and hard coal combined) fired power plants are the single source of energy that provides the most energy but still accounts for just 24% of the total energy production
https://t.me/EnergiewendeDeuschland/14

Wind energy follows and provides also 24%. Power plants fired by natural gas contribute 16% to electricity production. Nuclear power still produces 11%, although Germany has decided to switch off all nuclear power plants before the end of 2022 (Bundesregierung 2011).

Among the top ten world economies, India’s per capita electricity consumption is the lowest at 1208 kW-hour per year (kWh/year) compared to 14,612 kWh/ year of Canada, 12,154 kWh/year of USA, 5885 kWh/year of China and 2830 kWh/year of Brazil.

The scale of India’s per capita electricity consumption asymmetry is quite stark. On average, an Icelander consumes 43 times, a Norwegian 19 times, a Canadian 12 times, an American 10 times, a Chinese about 5 times and a Brazilian 2 times more electricity compared to an Indian.

The only difference? NORD IS 1000x BETTER THAN 🇺🇸!

even Nordic people in 🇺🇸 are 1000x better!
https://t.me/PollutionFacts/928

and there is even a reason why they consume a lot of ⚡️, because they start to switch all to ⚡️! it's 🥶! and travelling between places is not so easy too!

and for sure Nord is not just using all that to remain 🥵!

What is the reason of 🇺🇸?

The biggest change was for Hawaii, whose economy derives about a fifth of its GDP from tourism.
https://t.me/ElonMuskPollution/203

This was one of the sectors that were hit the worst by the pandemic. Hawaii is isolated from the rest of the country or any other land mass, and so about 37% of its energy use comes from jet fuel.
https://t.me/ElonMuskPollution/159
https://t.me/ElonMuskPollution/144

This was almost halved in 2020, contributing to the 26.4% drop in total energy.

Texas, despite having about 25% less population than California, uses almost twice as much energy.

On a per capita basis, the US spent USD 3040 on energy in 2020, down about 18.5% from 2019. Wyoming spent the most, USD 6707. New York spent the least, USD 2375.

In summary, doesn't matter which country, EVERYONE NEED TO CHANGE! but one thing is sure! 🇺🇸 need to stop waste energy for no sense things ...
