Just a friendly reminder that there are a lot of scammers and grifters in the world.

If someone randomly sends you a message asking for investment advice and they don't have any groups in common with you, beware. If they do have common investment groups with you, they can ask any questions in public.

Also, a lot of grifts are long games. They will seek to get personal and private information from you, in order to leverage your emotions. If they feel you are a wealthy mark, they will try to work on you for a month or more, because their cost/benefit is within their risk tolerance.

Protect your name, phone number, pictures (of you or others you know), even pictures that may give away your geographic location, and of course don't share your actual location, either. This is information they use to harvest and leverage against you, or use for another grift.

Finally, do not trust the personal information they give. A grifter is a liar. Even if the information seems to be legitimate, the information is likely stolen from an innocent bystander.

The following is why freedom is so important.

I was just involved in a conversation about exiting, and country living, and freedom. And during that conversation I had a great opportunity to do some reflecting.

Over the last fifty years, and certainly even the last two hundred and fifty, society has been involved in and has witnessed "the great exodus". That is, the marketing, promotion, and migration of moving to cities and off the land.

The cities offer a great allure. The conveniences, the luxuries, the social opportunities, the wage opportunities. What a wonderful life.

The reality is, cities are sink holes. One cannot be self sufficient in cities. One cannot be food secure in a city. In cities, the populations are wage slaves, who ultimately have to pay for their freedom called a two week vacation and maybe, hopefully retirement to a little acreage in the country, or a postage stamp property near a body of water.

For over fifty years, children have been taught to go to the city and find their freedom.

Please, people. Please stop selling your children to slavery. Please stop this exodus and migration to cities.

Please teach your children of the dream of freedom. The reality that true freedom is created by living off the land. Living in the country on a property bigger than two acres.

As expected, the oncoming change of seasons has finally arrived and focus can now be renewed and accelerated towards freedom and the exchanging of freedoms with others.

As this transition occurs, there will be more activity in that direction and with persistence, this should be the beginning of the end of needing to rely on the graces of systems that were never built to allow the majority of the population to live the lives they imagined.

Hey all. I've been really busy these past few weeks as season winds down and I'm getting myself and my stuff winterized. Most likely by the end of the month I will finally be able to get focused on discussing solutions again.

Unfortunately, that's the story of most people's lives. Distracted by the every day mundane from actively working on exit solutions.

The distractions have to stop. There is the possibility that exit strategies are too little, too late, at this point. Still, as they say, the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time to plant a tree is today.
