This change aims to help the platform, especially NSFW creators who use it like OnlyFans. Users posting adult content often must mark it as sensitive, and those under 18 are restricted from viewing it. However, X still bans content involving exploitation, nonconsent, or harm to minors. Enforcing these new rules is tough, as shown by past challenges with explicit AI images of Taylor Swift. Other platforms like Tumblr and OnlyFans have faced similar issues with maintaining NSFW content policies.

Six VPN apps, including MaskVPN, DewVPN, PaladinVPN, ProxyGate, ShieldVPN, and ShineVPN, were found infecting users with malware, contributing to the 911 S5 botnet, which affected over 19 million IP addresses globally. The botnet facilitated criminal activities like financial fraud and identity theft. The U.S. Department of Justice announced the botnet's takedown and the arrest of its administrator, YunHe Wang. Despite the disruption, the malware remains a threat on infected devices. Nvidia and AMD are set to launch gaming laptops featuring the AI Copilot Plus features announced by Microsoft for Qualcomm-powered laptops. In response, we've revoked several HF tokens and advised users to refresh their keys or switch to fine-grained access tokens. Google is finalizing the transition from Manifest V2 to V3 for Chrome extensions, aiming for completion by early next year. Microsoft is rolling out a new feature in June 2024 that allows Copilot in PowerPoint to automatically generate presentations from PDFs. Users can upload a PDF, and Copilot will analyze and convert its content into slides, potentially saving a lot of time.
