James Costello who is currently behind bars in HMP Manchester for speech crime has written a poem he would like us to share…
In Memoriam Peter Lynch
Against forces of darkness he did not understand
He became a casualty,
Condemned to a hole to languish and rot,
He became another fatality
For the babies, he stepped forward and cried,
Raising a voice for his people he dared
When the children ask why their grandad died,
Give the reason: it’s only that he cared.
