Niantic has finally announced the rules, details including badge designs of 2025 Q1 +Alpha Anomaly season, less than 8 hours before the start of the Global Op in the earliest region of the world, RGNN has summarized for you new updates:

🔹 Global Op, Jan 18 0:00 - Feb 2 23:59 local time:
· Deploy, destroy Portal Mods for +Alpha Global Campaign.
· Complete and claim Assignment 1 for Bronze badge, Assignment 3 for Silver Badge.
- Earning Points:
· Destroying Mod: 2 points.
· Deploying Mod: 1 for Common, 4 for Rare, 16 for Very Rare, existing Mod owner and Portal owner also receives points based on deployment: 1 for Common, 2 for Rare, 5 for Very Rare
- Scoring:
· 100 Points split on total Assignments done by each faction.
· 100 Points split on total +Alpha Op Points earned by each faction.

🔹 Shard Skirmish:
· 24 days prior to operation, one Portal will be ornamented to mark the centerpoint
· 72 hours prior operation, 25 Portals will be ornamented marking 5 shard manifest clusters.
· Each Shard Skirmish operation contributed up to 17.5 points

🔹 Battle Beacon Skirmish:
· 24 days prior to operation, three Portals will be ornamented to mark the centerpoint of 3 operation clusters.
· 72 hours prior operation, 60 Portals will be ornamented marking 3 Battle Beacon manifest clusters.
· Each Beacon Skirmish operation contributed up to 18 points

🔹 Anomaly:
· As before, 93 points each for Battle Beacons and Shards, 7 Points each for Stealth and Urban Ops.
· Up to 20 points for Covert Cache Percentage and Point Drop bonus, which are hacked media items from 10 “Covert Cache Envelopes” from Anomaly Zone Portals with passcodes for Agents to redeeming.
· Losing faction receive full Covert Caches points and other faction receive half Covert Cache points.
· Now only requiring one interaction with Anomaly cluster Portal to claim Anomaly badge.
· NL-1331 van at Tuscon, AZ for 2 sessions
· Official paid after party with drinks for purchase, and swag market at Yokosuka.

🔹 Bounty Blitz:
· Three phases each 8 hours and only activated within certain region.
· AMER: Feb 15 17:00 - Feb 16 1:00 UTC
· EMEA: Feb 22 9:00 - 17:00 UTC
· APAC: Mar 22 1:00 - 9:00 UTC

🔹 Medals:
· Interact one NIASection14 deployed Battle Beacon in Anomaly Zone, or Shard span location to acquire +Alpha badge. Remote recharging still only available for Anomaly Zone Beacons.
· + Alpha Supporter, CORE Supporter and Elite Supporter (40M+ AP) Medal kit each for 30,800 CMU from Jan 17 to Mar 31
· Misty Hannah 2025, Devra 2025, Devra 2019, OLW 2016 and OLW 2025 badges will be available for various time in the next two months, and all available from Mar 22 to Mar 31, for 30,800 CMU
