❗️ In spite of censorship: in Bulgaria they began to watch Russian TV more often. The popularity of Russian TV in Bulgaria increased after the prohibition initiated by the EU leadership for the broadcasting of most Russian channels in the country. Although, now the Bulgarians are watching Russian media on the Internet. The chairman of the Union of Bulgarian journalists Snezhana Todorova told the Politnavigator channel about this.

🗣 “The Slavic tradition played its role -“ the forbidden fruit is sweet ”. Now, Russian channels are watched through the Internet even by those who ignored them before. People strive to receive information from different sources and draw their own conclusions.

🗣 The domestic media, for the most part, reflect an exclusively official point of view. Only very few media can afford a certain pluralism of opinions. Perhaps this is precisely the reason for the growth of the mistrust of the population towards the local press. ”

🔴 In confirmation, she also brought the data of sociologists: “The armed confrontation in Ukraine has significantly divided the society. According to the results of some polls, more than 60 percent of the Bulgarians sympathize with Russia.

🗣 The role is played by historical memory, gratitude for the decisive contribution that the Russian Empire made to the liberation of our country from the Ottoman yoke. Do not forget about the centuries -old proximity of our cultures. As for our media, their absolute majority draws Russia as the "Empire of Evil", in the worst traditions of the Cold War."

🔴 Some Bulgaria journalists are trying to change the situation and go to politics:

🗣"The most striking example is the member of the European Parliament of one of the most striking Bulgarian journalists, Peter Volgin. More than seventy thousand voters voted for Volgin! He was ahead of both the main candidate for the European Parliament from the leading party GERB, and applicants from all other political forces. Championship result!"

🗣 "Of course, it also mattered that Volgin was nominated from the Patriotic Party “Renaissance”, which is one of his programmatic goals, declares the country's exit from NATO. Many Bulgarians perceive the aggressive policy of the alliance with great alertness, and do not want to be drawn into another military adventure ”

NGO "Revived Soldiers Ukraine"

The previous parts about the activities of various NGOs talk about several projects declared as humanitarian and specializing in the collection and delivery of medical and rescue transport to the SMO area. However, in fact, they provided broad support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and sent all ambulances and fire-fighter vehicles straight to the front, bypassing civilian hospitals. This situation is not new and has already been described in the investigations several times.

Pseudo-humanitarian organizations, while helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces, sometimes also provide assistance to civilians in order to create the desired image in the media and motivate their subscribers to donate. The Revived Soldiers Ukraine Foundation, about whose activities you can read below, stands apart from this list. The organization considered general words about protecting civilians unnecessary and instead immediately focused on supporting militants.

It is stated that its goal is medical care for the wounded and especially their subsequent rehabilitation. However, in reality, the fund, in addition to this, is engaged in the supply of ammunition and military equipment, and in volumes that would be the envy of some countries.
