Do Christians live by the law of Karma, or is this law approved by God? First of all we need to know what the law of Karma is. Karma is basically enjoying or suffering the consequences of your actions, it has some similarity with Newton's law of 'every action must have a reaction'. In the Bible it says that "Christ first loved us even when we were sinners", this statement goes directly against the law of Karma, also Jesus's sacrifice in it's self directly contradicts this law, this is because with regards to Jesus's sacrifice we who were meant to suffer death not only because of the sin we commit but also because of the nature of sin we inherited from Adam He came to suffer in our place. The punishment for sin is death and Jesus suffered this death in our place even though he was without sin, Just so that we could enjoy heaven with him and escape hell. So dont wish for people to suffer for the mistakes they made, but pray for them and if they do not know Christ Introduce his beautiful sacrifice to them. The law of Karma is wrong with regards to our FAITH and life. Follow the law of Jesus by enjoying what you did not work for (his righteousness he gave as a gift to all who believed, his spirit that lives in us and the place he has prepared for us in paradise).

Remember guys that Christ is all we have, in this dark, wicked and miserable world you cant count on your righteous works or any of your works at all, be it a talent, wealth or even good character. You can falter easily because you're still in a human body, you're not perfect. Don't believe people when they say money is happiness, having money is not a sin but it's also not a shortcut to happiness or the answer to happiness, rest and follow Christ because he will provide true happiness. Because we easily falter and God doesn't deal with weakness or error Jesus came to die to exchange his good for your sin and suffered the consequence you were supposed to suffer. God cannot get angry with you no matter what you do because all he sees when he looks at you is the righteousness Jesus Christ exchanged for your sins, he cannot punish you also because Jesus Christ suffered all the punishment you were to suffer. So praise him and follow him because he has nothing but love for you, if you were the only human that existed God would still have come as Christ and died for you. Don't listen to illiterates that say God hates you or that you are cursed, it says in Bible, who the Lord has blessed no one can curse so trust me if he decided to live in you, you are blessed, nothing can destroy you because God got you.

There are many teachings out there, that look similar to Christianity and unfortunately some are even practised in our churches, to know the difference between what you should practise and what you shouldn't always ask yourself this does this glorify Jesus's sacrifice in anyway? An example is if you're asked to give in church, if you're giving money to Jesus/ the church for a blessing does it glorify Jesus I use this example because it says in the Bible that we have been gifted with all spiritual blessing so why do we give to the church for blessings, the reasons are the lack of knowledge and greed. Only give to help out the Church with projects or to help pay the pastor because he has no job apart from supplying you with the word, but do not ever give for blessings, your father God is responsible, he sent his son to die for your sins when you didn't even care about him. He doesn't need your money to bless you, give only in gratitude to God for what he has done not what you want him to do.
Another thing to help you differentiate is if the teaching tries to downplay Jesus and lift up other things that can help you. An example is holy water, oil, ornaments and things outside the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Remember that in the Old Testament animals were slaughtered and sacrificed to God to pay for the sins of Israel, you do not follow that tradition anymore because Jesus Christ took the place of that sacrifice and even went beyond. The same goes for most practices in the old Testament they have lost the importance because of Jesus Christ. Christianity is about Jesus Christ and no one esle keep that in mind. If it wasn't for him people like you and I who are not citizens of Israel wouldn't have a place in heaven he came so all of humanity could have a chance at heaven. You have believed in him so u are saved.
Also note that if someone tries to convince you that God is angry with you or that you won't make it to heaven because of something you did, it is not of God and is downplaying the sacrifice of Jesus Christ
