36 countries are represented, 22 of which at the highest level. UN secretary general Antรณnio Guterres and heads of other international organisations will also participate in the summit.

Discussions will focus on the issues of dedollarisation and mutual payment mechanisms in BRICS countries, however no upsetting evolutions can be expected. According to deputy foreign minister Sergey Ryabkov, there will be no talks on admitting new states.
