President-elect Donald Trump plans to deploy troops to the US border and designate the Tren de Aragua gang as a foreign terrorist organization as one of his first acts in office on Monday.

🇺🇸 Trump’s 2025 Inauguration: Unprecedented Security and Border Crackdown

On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump will be inaugurated under the most extensive security measures in U.S. history. The ceremony, moved indoors due to weather, features a 30-mile security perimeter, 25,000 personnel, and a no-fly zone. Meanwhile, Trump’s administration is set to enforce strict immigration policies, including expanding the border wall, ideological screening, and expedited deportations.

These measures highlight the administration’s focus on national security and sovereignty, but they also raise concerns about diplomatic tensions with Latin America. The policies could reshape U.S. relations with countries grappling with migrant crises and drug cartel violence, impacting regional stability and foreign policy dynamics.
