In the Harvard School of Engineering, a university professor, Wim Lornon, has been doing something extraordinary and weird with chemical relationships.
By combining various chemical materials, he has been able to create microscopic elements that are very similar to flowers.
To make these beautiful microscopic flowers, he used a combination of a chemical salt called barium chloride and sodium silicate with water-soluble dioxide.
This reaction produces barium crystals.
