The ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas is already showing signs of falling apart. The deal, which includes the swap of 33 hostages for 1,000 Palestinian prisoners, was paused after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hamas of breaking some of its promises.

The Biden administration took plenty of credit for the deal, but also acknowledged Donald Trump’s role in its finalization.

House Judiciary Committee Democrats are urging Attorney General Merrick Garland, in his final days in office, to release special counsel Jack Smith’s report on Donald Trump’s alleged mishandling and concealment of classified documents — even if it means dropping criminal charges against his alleged accomplices.

“It is essential that the American people and Congress understand how Mr. Trump mishandled our nation’s most sensitive classified information, especially because he will be sworn in as Commander-in-Chief and take leadership of our national security apparatus in just five days,” the Committee Democrats, led by write ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), wrote in a letter obtained by POLITICO.

Ratings-challenged CNN will reportedly move veteran anchor Wolf Blitzer to a new slot in the mornings as part of a wider reshuffle by the embattled cable news pioneer’s boss Mark Thompson.

The 76-year-old Blitzer, one of the network’s longest-tenured anchors and current host of “The Situation Room” at 6 p.m., will be teamed with Pamela Brown on a new morning show, sources told Status newsletter on Thursday.

The shakeup could also include frequent Donald Trump antagonist Jim Acosta being bounced as anchor of “CNN Newsroom” at 10 a.m., the sources said.

Thompson, the former BBC and New York Times head honcho who was brought in by Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav to right the ship at CNN, may also shift pre-dawn anchor Kasie Hunt to the afternoons, according to the newsletter, written by former CNN media analyst Oliver Darcy.

CNN declined to comment when contacted by The Post.

BREAKING: Israel's Netanyahu delays Gaza cease-fire deal, accusing Hamas of trying to back out

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday accused Hamas of backing out of a cease-fire deal to release hostages and bring a pause to more than a year of fighting in the Gaza Strip. 

Netanyahu's office said Thursday his Cabinet won't meet to vote on the Gaza cease-fire deal until Hamas backs down from what it called a "last minute crisis."

Netanyahu's office accused Hamas, without elaborating, of trying to go back on part of the agreement in an attempt "to extort last minute concessions."
