What is christian unity?
You would have (by default) to be baptized, be of the right denomination, not question the dogma, and agree with everything the Bible says (of course, you need the right interpretation).
If you break any of these criterias, you're a "satanist", and joined their group to cause division. Imagine how fragile their unity must be.. therefore, they don't seek unity, but purity spiral.
Catholics can't cooperate with protestants, puritans, methodists, or orthodox...and the same goes between all the other denominations..the religious wars, these past centuries, have taught us that much.
