The Glasses Game 👓

People wearing glasses often use them to hide their true thoughts and emotions.

There are lots of ways to avoid unwanted conversations. You can twirl the glasses in your hands, wipe the glasses with a rag, breathe on the lenses, put them in their case, look for a long time in your purse, etc.

Better not to ask a man or a girlfriend to answer an important question for you with all honesty, if you see the man starts to make manipulations with glasses - he is clearly avoiding the answer, which he needs time to think about.

Claude Mellan (23 May 1598 – 9 September 1688) was a French draughtsman, engraver, and painter.

This seventeenth-century engraving of Jesus Christ wearing a crown of thorns is titled "One with a single line. Indeed, what from a distance resembles an ordinary drawing is, up close, an image created with a single line that spirals in a spiral. All details of the face and the transitions of light and shadow are created by the thickening of this line. The author is French artist Claude Mellan.

For the artist's contemporaries, his method of engraving remained a mystery, and no one has been able to repeat it.

I feel as if there has been a death of sincerity. No one is sincere towards each other and themselves, it is as though the very concept has faded from memory. Everyone wants something, there's always some exterior motive. Acting simply because it is the right thing to do is rare, people are amazed when you want nothing from them and you give freely.
