Never Meet Your Heroes!!!

I recently heard this line and it made a lot of sense.
It actually gave words to my thoughts. I used to think in that direction but was not able to put words to it until now.

Problem isn't Romanticizing (or Over-Roamanticizing) but the inability to accept anything less than extraordinary.
How often we forget that normal things can be beautiful too.

Do Romanticize, there is nothing wrong with it.
But explain your sweet, innocent brain that not everything turns out as per his wish.

Always have a unwanted scenario visualized in the back of the mind so, when things don't turn out as per your expectations, it would hurt less.

Avoid Romanticizing Everything!!

We often romanticize a lot of things in our life.
Romanticizing is good. Even necessary because it gives us motivation to move forward. It gives us hope.

But problem occurs when we get too attached to the outcome. We attach our feelings, our emotions, joy and happiness to it.
We start to believe that once we reach the destination, we will be satisfied, moreover we think we will feel fulfilled.

But in life, events rarely turns out as we want them to be.

When we don't get that much intensity of satisfaction that we were hoping, we feel disappointed.

And this disappointment can accumulate over time and create a feeling of hurt inside you.

You won't find reasonable men on the top of mountains.

Beautiful souls recognize beautiful souls.
Keep being genuine.
Your people will find you.

To conclude, Experience equals practical knowledge.
Imitation equals theoritical knowledge.
And Relfection is the process of bridging these both.

If you rely on Experience only, you will be restricted to your limited knowledge.
Soon enough you will hot a wall and no progress will happen.

Rely heavily on initation and you have miss the practical knowledge.
No doubt neural connections will be made but theoritical and practical knowledge are differenr things.
Both these are stored in different parts of brain.
Neural connections will develop in one part but other will lack.
In the moment on need, you will start to struggle.

Lastly, Reflection.
This word is meaningless without either of theoritical or practical knowledge.

Life to too short to learn everythong by experience.
You need to gain knowledge from other's experience.

Similarly, you can repeat a thing thousand times and yet fail every time not gaining any meaningful experience.

These three aren't isolated terms. But rather something that rely heavily on each other.

A Wise old man told a boy,

There are two wolves always fighting inside us.

One is filled with anger, hate, jealousy, shame and lies.

The other wolf is filled with love, joy, truth and peace.

This battle rages inside of you and all men.

The boy thought for a moment and asked "Which wolf will win?"

The old man answered
The one you feed

how can i blame the wind when i'm the one who opened the window?

I have some good examples from my life.
Will hopefully edit this text and write them down here someday.
