Some more highlights from Charles Crocker's testimony before the Joint Special Committee in 1877 to discuss the effects of Chinese labor on America.

Not only did Crocker get $27M in government subsidies which he then used to hire Chinese workers thereby undercutting White wages, but he owned a steam line that went to and from Hong Kong.

Pay attention to how Crocker pivots when questioned. He knows what he's doing.
