I rant here. And no one can respond.

I went out today.

I mean outside.

As those in the North would say, "out of doors."

I was in public.

And I was white. THE WHOLE TIME.

Not only that, I was male, too.

And straight (not that it's obvious anymore).

And I didn't die.

It's a miracle of my "white privilege."

I am so grateful I had the opportunity to go out and serve the women and minorities I have oppressed, and continue to oppress (through my whiteness) by working for less than 7% of my actual worth.

But I'm also confused by the shame of knowing I survived, and wasn't beaten, raped, and murdered for my inherent sin of being a straight white male.

I need to find Jesus. But only the black Jesus from that Madonna video. Anything else would be offensive and "problematic."

It's getting late. I hear fireworks and I'm white. Time to head home.

High wind and severe thunderstorms here in Denver. I predict most joggers and peaceful protesters will stay home, while I'm out working.

Weird flex, but whatever:

Imagine living on Martha's Vineyard and feeling a need to protest:

Fucking clown world.

BLACK LIVES MATTER 🖤🖤🖤

Mandingo goals, eh? 🤣🤣

Rest assured I have no interest in the NBA, the NFL, or soccer.

Like how much I love the fact that Jeter and Larry Walker were both inducted into the Hall of Fame in the same year. As a fan of the Yankees and the Rockies, nothing could be more fitting.

And, yeah, I talk golf here. Soon it will turn to baseball. LOL

I'm grateful that Fred Couples is still playing. Probably the one player with whom I identify most. In terms of play and philosophy.

BTW, Payne died in a plane crash. Far too young. Seve succumbed to cancer, but not after an absolutely brilliant career in many leagues and Ryder Cup performances (as player and as captain). Chi Chi is still with us, I just miss seeing him play. He was spectacular, even as a relatively small guy.

I lived in Buffalo for years. Never had any bad interactions with anyone there. And I probably broke a few laws during that time. Sad to see how politicized absolutely everything has become.
