📩🔹 Question:
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
A barren woman who has no children, when her neighbors' children play with water or do something (of play that causes her distress), she curses them with a supplication that if it fell on a mountain, it would crush it, and they say that, because she is barren, her supplication is answered.
📤 Answer:
وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته
It is not correct to say that barreness is a reason for the acceptance of supplication. What is appropriate is patience regarding children, as they are naturally inclined to play and mischief, with few exceptions.
Patience with neighbors is also an affair required legislatively.
Thus, the advice for this woman, may Allaah guide and elevate her rank, is to be patient with the neighbors' children and not to curse them. If necessary, and she sees that they have exceeded the limit, she should complain to their mother.
And Allaah knows best.
