The Allied destruction of Saint-Malo; an allied war crime, blamed on Germany.

"To this day, a proportion of the citizens of Saint-Malo believe the Germans deliberately burnt the city as an act of spite...But all the evidence is against this."

Rape has, and will always be, an ugly aspect of war. We know how the "victors," treated Germany. But what about German-occupied France?

Little data exits. But according to https://t.co/arG0vKTXCH

During the whole occupation, German soldiers perhaps raped fewer than 500, and perhaps as few as 231.

One interesting question, which should be investigated is: how many German soldiers were punished for these crimes, versus the number of Soviet and other, Allied soldiers?

Forward from: Institute For Historical Review
Something well-reported is the number of German women raped by Soviet soldiers during and after WWII-- up to 2 million.

However, data suggests close to 200,000 women were raped by other allied soldiers- American's, French, etc.
