To our people and the general public,

On the occasion of the Newroz festival, we extend our warmest greetings to our Kurdish people, the Syrian people as a whole, and the entire world. We also send our greetings to all our heroic fighters who, during these sacred days, are defending the land and peace of our homeland. We believe that this year’s Newroz, as the Kurdish New Year and the beginning of spring, will mark the start of a new era in Syria.

Newroz carries deep meanings of resistance and peace. The fire of Newroz represents victory over injustice and the establishment of peace and security. It later becomes the shared wealth of all peoples in the region, symbolizing joy and the achievement of freedom.

Today, we are striving with all our strength to bring the meanings of Newroz to life in Syria. We aim for a future where all peoples stand together, where division and war come to an end, and where love and brotherhood are built on the foundations of justice, equality, and mutual recognition of rights. On this Newroz, we hope for the return of all displaced and exiled people to their rightful homes and lands. The core identity of Syria should belong to all its people, and no one should be excluded from its reconstruction.

Just as Newroz signifies a commitment to the land and homeland, we must preserve the historical values of Newroz by ensuring the protection of our people from all threats and reviving their social solidarity. With the spirit of Newroz’s honor and resilience, we must restore what Syria has lost in recent years.

SOHR: SDF kill and injure four Turkish-backed militiamen on frontlines in Aleppo countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights released this statement:

"Aleppo province: Syrian Democratic Forces carried out an infiltration operation into military positions of factions of the “National Army” on the frontlines of Teshreen dam and Syriatel hill in Aleppo countryside. Fierce clashes followed the infiltration operation which left a militiamen of the “National Army” dead and three others injured. The injured militiamen were taken to the hospital, amid a state of high alert and military movements by both sides.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of combatants and civilians who have been killed in bombardment, airstrikes and clashes between SDF and Turkish-backed factions since the beginning of military escalation in Manbij city and countryside on December 12, 2024, has reached 659; they are distributed as follows:

- 66 civilians, including nine women, 11 children and a journalist.

- 485 Turkish-backed militiamen, including a sergeant in the Turkish army.

-104 members of SDF and affiliated military formations, including a commander.

-Four Turkish soldiers.

It is worth noting that the latest attacks by Turkish forces come as a part of unprecedented military escalation in this region, where Ankara seeks to annex more Syrian areas. This coincides with increasing calls by international authorities upon Ankara to stop its attacks in Syria."

Note: According to our informations, at least 3 journalists were martyred by the Turkish Army on the Manbij Front: Agid Roj, Nazım Daştan and Cîhan Bilgin.

According to Axios, U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s recent letter delivered to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei included a “two-month deadline” for Iran to agree to a new nuclear deal. The letter reportedly did not say what would occur once the two months elapsed, but it is likely that the chance of U.S. and/or Israeli military actions against Iran and its nuclear program would dramatically increase.
