I don't know where these kind of information they get or are these information true or not.

Kusum was diagnosed with rare type of lung cancer: stage 4 non- small cell cancer with ALK mutation. As if it wasn't enough, her cancer was malignant, caused to spread to her brain and to have Multiple brain tumors.
Typically, this patients with this kind of disease won't survive more than a year. Doctors said to her she
had 6 months to live, but she lived for 7 years with stage 4 lung cancer and brain tumors.
First thing is she didn't smoke , neither her family. She just got this disease.

Our T-cells do help us, but the problem is cancer is kind of smart enough to fool our T-cells, resulting cancer duplicates itself nonstop.

University of Pennsylvania created a new therapy that can help our T-cells to recognize cancer.
This new therapy called Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cells.
In this process, T cells are taken from patient's blood and changed in the lab by adding a gene for Chimeric Antigen Receptor or CAR. This helps our T-cells better identify cancer cell antigens.
Then CAR-T cells are given back to the patients.
This amazing therapy is very effective and harmless.
It can cure CLL( Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia)
AML( Adult acute myeloid Leukemia)
Multiple myeloma and Glioblastoma( aggressive brain tumor).
I have researched this therapy a lot. In my personal opinion, this is the best way to fight against blood cancer types.
I hope in the near future we will find ways to treat other cancer types with CAR-T cell therapy.
