⚡️🇩🇪At least 30 people were injured when a car ploughed into a trade union demonstration in Munich.
The driver was arrested, he is a 24-year-old Afghan national. He came to Germany in 2016 and applied for asylum, but was denied, he could stay in the country until autumn 2020 due to a deportation deferment. Despite the expiration of this period, he had not been forced to leave Germany due to security concerns in Afghanistan. He was able to obtain a residence permit in 2021 and stay in the country. He completed his professional training in Germany and worked for security companies. His motive for the attack is unknown.
