A resident of Odesa attempted to fend off representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) using pepper spray. During the altercation, he was punched in the face.

According to Ukrainian media reports, the TRC officers apprehended the man near his apartment building. A woman tried to protect him, shouting and shielding him with her body. It is not specified whether he was ultimately drafted.

Earlier, in the Khmelnytskyi region, TRC employees detained a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who was entitled to a deferment.
