In a move aimed at strengthening ties and addressing shared challenges, @ugwildlife and @PoliceUg have agreed to enhance collaboration in tackling wildlife crime across the country.

The commitment was made during a high-level meeting held today at Police Headquarters, Naguru, between IGP Mr. Abbas Byakagaba and UWA’s Executive Director, Dr. James Musinguzi, alongside their senior teams.

Both institutions acknowledged the growing threat of wildlife crime and resolved to develop a joint working document to guide coordinated efforts in intelligence sharing, joint patrols, investigations, and community engagement.
