و عليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته
We will clarify any confusion regarding question #79 in the Q&A .
In the audio, our
Shaykh (حفظ الله) mentions the opinions of some of the people of knowledge, and he didn't base this answer on how many wives the man will have exactly rather will the wives of the dunya be the wife in jannah .
Rather this has not been proven on exact numbers of wives , however, we will mention some opinions with evidences.
We have in the Sahihayn [Bukhari & Muslim]
The correct view which is proven in reports narrated from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is the hadith about the two wives of the believer in Paradise, as is proven in Sahih al-Bukhari (3245) and Sahih Muslim (2834) from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu‘ hadith: “Each of them will have two wives.”
These 2 wives are not mentioned from polygamy or marrying one after the other. However, it falls under polygamy marriage
Some versions of this hadith specify that these two wives will be from among al-hur al-‘ayn , whilst other versions mention wives in general terms without specifying.
In Sahih Bukhari, it is mentioned as:
Narrated `Abdullah bin Qais Al-Ash`ari:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A tent (in Paradise) is like a hollow pearl which is thirty miles in height and on every corner of the tent the believer will have a family that cannot be seen by the others." (Narrated Abu `Imran in another narration, "The tent is sixty miles in height.")
Sahih al-Bukhari 3243
The believer will have more than two [wives] in Paradise because of the report narrated in as-Sahihayn [al-Bukhari (3243) and Muslim (2838)] from Abu ‘Imran
*The Prophet(ﷺ ) said: “In Paradise the believer will have a tent made from a single hollowed-out pearl, sixty miles high (or wide), in which the believer will have wives and he will go around among them and they will not see one another.” (Hadi al-Arwah, p. 232)*
We will also take a look at some of the opinions:
▪️First opinion
Shaykh Al- Islam ibn Taymiyah (رحمه الله)
The believer will have two wives from among the women of this world, and he will have a number of al-hur al-‘in in addition to that, according to his deeds, without any specific number being mentioned.
Ibn Taymiyah (رحمه الله )said:
“It is soundly narrated that each man of the people of Paradise will have two wives from among women of the Dunya plus al-hur al-‘in .

▪️Second opinion
Imam ibn Katheer (رحمه الله)
Says : " What it means is that these 2 wives will be from the children of Adam (meaning wives from the Dunya), along with them, will he will have others from among Al-hur al-'in as many as Allaah gives him .

▪️Third opinion
Ibn Hajar
al-‘Asqalani(رحمه الله )
Each of them will have two wives”
Meaning the women of this world from the progeny of Aadam (عليه السلام) plus he will have seventy-two wives from among al-hur al-‘in , in addition to his wives as it was and this isnad (chain) was considered marfu' hadith (meaning hadith attributed to the Messenger of Allah (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہٖ وسلم) and a companion (sahabi) narrates it
Hadith comes through Ahmad via Abu Hurayrah. (May allaah be pleased with them both and have mercy upon them )
marfu‘ hadith, which speaks of the lowest of the people of Paradise in status: “He will have seventy-two wives from among al-hur al-‘in , in addition to his wives from this world.”
