The DoJ filed a lawsuit against Visa, claiming that Visa pays off Apple, PayPal, Square, and CashApp to NOT compete with them.
The swipe fees on credit cards and debit cards is a duopoly of Visa/MC. This lack of competition costs American families an average of $900 per year each.
The Credit Card Competition Act needs to be passed to introduce more competition into this market so that fees come down....
