The bar chart compares the survey results of newlywed couples from the UK who went to various destinations on their honeymoons in 2010. The survey was conducted among 5,000 couples.

Overall, the survey results revealed that while the destinations in developing countries attracted more couples, the reverse was true for the ones in developed countries. It is also clear that Thailand and Bali were top holiday locations, with the former having the highest number.

Turning to details, the most respondents said they chose to spend their honeymoons in Thailand and Bali, with respective figures of 1,410 and 1,335. The third most popular destination was Costa Rica, with 750 honeymooners opting for this location, which was significantly higher than the figure for the Maldives, at 600.

The remaining destinations, on the other hand, were less popular among newlywed British couples. While the Greek Islands were preferred by 432 couples, the figure for Paris was twice lower, at 209. The number of visitors to Spain was even smaller, with 140 couples. Lastly, the least popular honeymoon destination was the Lake District, which managed to attract only 124 people.
