1. Change the size of your handwriting.
βπΌ What worked for me was to try to write a little smaller, making it look more neat! If you already have small writing, working on making it larger may help as well.
2. Write out song lyrics to practice.
βπΌ If iβm trying to change/improve my handwriting, Iβll usually write out lyrics to songs I like to practice my new handwriting!
3. Change the type of pen you use.
βπΌ I tend to write more neatly when i use 0.5 pens rather than 0.7, and you may write better with ballpoint rather than a fineliner! It all depends on the person.
4. Force yourself to keep it up.
βπΌ In class or while studying, you may feel inclined to give up and write messy because itβs easier. Keep up your new and improved handwriting during this and soon enough that handwriting will be easier!
5. Embrace your current handwriting.
βπΌ Itβs much easier to improve what makes your current handwriting insufficient rather than to completely change to a brand new handwriting (trust me, that takes forever).
6. Write more slowly.
βπΌ Itβs incredibly difficult to have perfect handwriting when youβre writing at a mile a minute! If youβre in class and youβre forced to write quickly, you may want to consider rewriting your notes after class so they look neater.
7. Change the spacing between letters.
βπΌ This makes a bigger impact than you can imagine! If you put very little space between your letters, your notes will look very crammed.
8. Be patient.
βπΌ Improving handwriting takes time, but itβs not impossible. Have patience and good luck!!
