Structured Payout Definitions
Redemption Rate = the amount paid for each ZIM Dollar.
This is the process of redeeming your bond. As the bond holder, you receive payment based on the face value of the bond multiplied by the negotiated Redemption Rate. This transaction also activates your Digital Gold Certificates within the Quantum Financial System (QFS).
Term = the number of years you choose to receive Structured Payouts—10, 25, 50, 100 years, or another approved term determined during your Redemption Appointment.
Structured Payout = a system designed to provide Humanitarians with a consistent cash flow throughout the selected term. The total approved amount is placed into a Structured Payout account within the QFS, from which all scheduled payments are made. This process is administered by the Alliance.
Primary Principal = the Redemption Rate multiplied by the total number of ZIM Dollars redeemed. This is not the amount deposited into your QFS account.
Secondary Principal = the total amount deposited into your Structured Payout account during the Redemption Appointment. This account funds all future payments and is administered by the Alliance. You do not have direct access to it.
Percentage Rate = not traditional APR interest. It simply determines the annual Structured Payout. For example, a 10% rate means you receive 10% of the Primary Principal each year throughout the selected term.
First Structured Payout = issued during the Redemption Appointment and deposited into the QFS account established that day.
Because the QFS is not interest-bearing, there is no 90-day waiting period. The funds deposited into your Motherlode Account are immediately available without outside restrictions.
The Primary Principal is used only to calculate your Structured Payout. The Secondary Principal funds your long-term payment schedule, while the selected percentage and term determine the amount and duration of each payment.
This provides Humanitarians with a predictable annual budget for their projects. Although the Structured Payout account remains under Alliance administration, scheduled payments continue throughout the approved term.
