Spanish police solved a murder thanks to Google Maps.
A 48-year-old man found out about his girlfriend's lover and decided to kill him in the quiet village of Tahueco, the perfect place for the crime, where only 56 people live.
Fate played a cruel trick on him: on the day of the murder, a Google car was driving around the village taking panoramas. Footage of a man putting a corpse in the trunk of a car caught on camera. The image reached the police and the killer was quickly apprehended.
The irony is that this was the first time a Google car had traveled to Tahueco in 15 years.
