There is a group of youth who stay up all night on their phones and play a game known as PBUG from after Ishā until Fajr then they pray in their places, even though the masjid is next to them, what is your advice for them and may Allah reward you with goodness.

📝 Answer:

By Allāh, this is the peak of loss. This is Harām upon them and Allāh will ask them regarding their youth and their life, what did they do with it, this is a waste of their religion and their dunyā, may Allāh rectify them.

There is no issue in a man marrying a woman he knew during his time of ignorance or disbelief, or before he became upright, if his condition has become good and her condition has also become good, and they have both become upright people who have repented to Allāh from the free mixing [they were previously involved in], and we ask Allah for success.

Our advice is that they do not become decieved by the actions of the Kuffār [disbelievers] for indeed they are destined for the Hell-fire even if the mannerisms of some of them are good. They are the enemies of Allāh while the Muslims are the Awliyā of Allāh and they are destined to the Paradise even if the mannerisms of some of them are bad.

◾How to perform Ruqyah and what is to be said◾️

📩 Question:

Kindly inform us of the manner in which Ruqyah is performed and what are the remembrances that are specific for Ruqyah?

📝 Answer:

The legislative Ruqyah is when the Rāqi [one performing Ruqyah] reads some verses and Prophetic Ta'wīdhāt, and he [lightly] spits on the one being read upon, or he spits onto his hands and wipes his hands on the area of pain. It is a condition that the Ruqyah must be affirmed, legislative, with understandable meanings and in the Arabic language.

From the greatest Ta'wīdhāt and Ruqā, is Surah Al-Fātiha, and Al-Ikhlās and the Mu'awithāt (Surah Al-Falaq & An-Nas) that the Messenger ﷺ read when magic was performed on him, and thereafter the magic went from him. The Messenger ﷺ said,

"ما تعوذ المتعوذ بمثلها"
"No refuge seeker has sought refuge with the likes of these".

So they are considered to be blessed chapter's. As for what has been established in the Sunnah [from remembrances said during Ruqyah], then from them are the following:

١."ﺃﻋﻴﺬﻙ ﺑﻜﻠﻤﺎﺕ اﻟﻠﻪ اﻟﺘﺎﻣﺔ، ﻣﻦ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻴﻄﺎﻥ ﻭﻫﺎﻣﺔ، ﻭﻣﻦ ﻛﻞ ﻋﻴﻦ ﻻﻣﺔ"

"I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil
and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye". (Agreed upon)

٢."ﺑﺴﻢ اﻟﻠﻪ اﻟﺬﻱ ﻻ ﻳﻀﺮ ﻣﻊ اﺳﻤﻪ ﺷﻲء ﻓﻲ اﻷﺭﺽ ﻭﻻ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺴﻤﺎء ﻭﻫﻮ اﻟﺴﻤﻴﻊ اﻟﻌﻠﻴﻢ» (ﺛﻼﺙ ﻣﺮاﺕ)"

"In the Name of Allah, Who with His Name nothing can cause harm in the earth
nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-knowing (Recite
three times in Arabic)".
(Abu Dawood, At-Tirmidhi)

٣."ﺑﺴﻢ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺃﺭﻗﻴﻚ، ﻣﻦ ﻛﻞ ﺷﻲء ﻳﺆﺫﻳﻚ، ﻣﻦ ﺷﺮ ﻛﻞ ﻧﻔﺲ ﺃﻭ ﻋﻴﻦ ﺣﺎﺳﺪ، اﻟﻠﻪ ﻳﺸﻔﻴﻚ، ﺑﺴﻢ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺃﺭﻗﻴﻚ"

"With the Name of Allah I recite over you (to cleanse you) from all that troubles you, and from every harmful mischief and from the evil of the eyes of an envier. Allah will cure you; and with the Name of Allah, I recite over you". (Muslim)

٤."اﻟﻠﻬﻢ، ﺃﺫﻫﺐ اﻟﺒﺎﺱ، ﺭﺏ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ، اﺷﻒ ﻭﺃﻧﺖ اﻟﺸﺎﻓﻲ، ﻻ ﺷﻔﺎء ﺇﻻ ﺷﻔﺎﺅﻙ، ﺷﻔﺎء ﻻ ﻳﻐﺎﺩﺭ ﺳﻘﻤﺎ"

"O Allah, the Lord of the people! Remove the trouble and heal the patient, for You are the Healer. No healing is of any avail but Yours; healing that will leave behind no ailment."

Please explain to us the condition of the faction 'Hizbul-Jadīd' [also known as SPUBS] and their mistakes because many of the youth, particularly those new to the Salafi Da'wah, have become deceived by them due to the fact that they may manifest aspects of the Sunnah in the dress or their citation of some Mashāyikh of Sunnah in Saudi etc, however, in the end, [all they are doing] is cultivating and calling the youth to blind-follow them.

📝 Answer:

The affair of Al-Hizbul-Jadīd has become old, and they are like other than them from the factions that are fanatical to their opinion, and command with blind-following them, and they have a restricted 'Walā wal Barā' [association and dissociation]. And it is sufficient [in demonstrating their factionalism] their hostility to Ahlul-Sunnah in Damāj with any justification. And Allah is the One who grants success.

Is praying Salāh in congregation obligatory for the men, and what is the proof, may Allah bless you.

📝 Answer:

Yes it is obligatory due to many evidences, from them is the speech of Allāh,

(وَٱرۡكَعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلرَّ ٰ⁠كِعِینَ)
"And Irkaū' (i.e. bow down) along with Ar-Rāki'īn (those who bow and pray)".

[Surah Al-Baqarah - 43]

It comes on the authority of Abu Hurayra in Saheeh Al-Bukhari and Muslim that the Messenger ﷺ intended to burn the houses of those who were absent from the congregational prayer with fire.

What are the excuses that permit one to leave off [praying] in congregation?

📝 Answer:

A sever illness, fear, and rain. As for the one who eats garlic and onion then they are prohibited from the Masājid as a punishment for them, so that they don't harm the Muslims.

Jabir (May Allāh be pleased with him) said that the Prophet ﷺ said, "He who has eaten garlic or onion should keep away from us or our mosques."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

The narration in Muslim is: "He who has eaten onion or garlic or leek should not approach our mosque, because the angels are also offended (by the strong smells) that offend the children of Adam."
[Muslim].

At the same time, there is an area in this country which is far from me and has Salafi people living in it and the majority of its inhabitants are Muslims, so I want to relocate there with my wife. My parents were happy with that at first but then after some time they changed their opinion and told me not to go because my wife is pregnant, but instead go after the birth. Also, my parents don't want to come with me either, so what shall I do?

We advise you with hastening to migrate and to not delay the matter. May Allah grant you all success.

In India they have a custom which is, after a women gives birth, another woman washes her for a some days and she may reveal some of her 'Awrah during the bathing such as some of her leg etc; so what is the ruling regarding this?

📝 Answer:

This is impermissible, for it is not allowed to reveal the 'Awrah, not even some of it, if it is to other than the husband. And Allāh is the One who grants success.
