Alisha Chinai for #BoycottBollywood (reposted Adnan Sami with her own quote in the beginning)

How to keep up going in our fight.

1) Firstly, our fight isn’t just again 5-6 people or just nepo-products. It’s a system we are fighting against. We are fighting for the people who have been wronged by this “elitist club of bollywood” popularly known as “movie mafia”. We are fighting to get justice in sushant’s case and hoping CBI takes up the investigation cause we feel the case should be investigated fairly without any pressure from the “mafias”, the dots are not connecting in his story, his family demands a CBI probe, his uncle claims foul play we need a clear investigation of what actually happened.

2) To all the people tweeting, taking pledges to fulfill his dreams, thank you so much for all the support. I feel SSR can see this, he can hear us and even read this.

Hey Buddy! Hope you are doing fine, we’ll fight for you and keep you alive with us, celebrate you , until we meet again. Love you Sush.

3) Please do not stop fighting, do not be distracted with their stupid attention seeking tactics. Please be motivated, and if you feel un motivated please go over and look at sushant’s profile once.

4) Our motive is to demand a better working space, an inclusive working space, we demand people to be behind bars who are criminals (Salman/Sooraj) We demand equal respect in the industry. We demand to forbid the diss culture, the ignoring/cornering culture, the suppressing culture, the snatching/taking away projects culture.

5) Not just outsiders, we are also demanding respect, work and appreciation of good artists who fall in the lower category of “nepotism hierarchy” like Abhay Deol.

6) We are demanding to stop the continuous pushing down our throat attitude from the industry, don’t fucking keep re-launching people like Sooraj Pancholi. Don’t take Tiger Shroff in all action films, take Vidyut too.

7) As sushant said, “Nepotism is everywhere, but if you don’t deliberately allow people to rise then the system would collapse”

8) Akshay once said, “jagah bhot hai, kaam bhot hain, sabki jagah hai kam karne ki”

9) Hype people up, good artists/genuine people, if a nepotism product is a good artist/a good human being, I have nothing against them. Stand for people who stood up for Sushant, it is sad to see his own Friends like Mukesh Chabbra not speaking up about his struggles but he isn’t speaking up out of fear, cause after al he has to work with the very same people and survive. We’ll stand for our Sushant, future Sushants and present Sushants.

10) As u/rekharai said, give outsiders a chance, AB jr is still here after multiple flops. Don’t pick on the flaws of outsiders, if you have given Sonam a chance, watched her onscreen then anita hassandani or krystle d’souza or kriti kulhari are 1000 times better than her. If you keep finding flaws in them, and not accepting nepos, then who do you intend to watch?

11) Unfollow the members of this “Dusron ko neecha sikhao club” , with the head of the club being Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar. Sonam Kapoor believes in Karma, give it back to her.

12) Boycott their movies and brands, trend on twitter, even if you want to watch the movies, watch it online. #Saynotonanya #SelmonBhaiByeBye #Reebokbhak

13) Hype up the people who are deserving and good humans. DM them, tag them, post about them, and believe me they’ll be so happy. And no, no one feels weird or bad or getting DMs full of love.

14) If we keep fighting, we would be motivating others like Sonu to speak up. We have always wanted to take T-series down, now is the time. This is a revolution, imagine biggies calling out each other. We must keep going, I believe many people like Sushant would be waiting to speak up. If only we did this earlier 😔 we’ll make him proud, we’ll give this revolution his name, suggest a good one.

15) Lastly, do not pass harsh comments, there are ways for protesting and calling people out, but do not participate in abusive trolling or involving their families matlab bas hindi main galliyan mat do, baki lagi raho.

Do not lose this spirit, do not forget that they made a person;as bright

agenda. When you see only one person being maligned day in and day out, the person becoming a fixture in these 'blind' items, you are forced to think something somewhere is amiss. That all of this is happening at someone else's behest.

But there is no accountability.

So while an otherwise active Karan Johar has stayed off social media since Sushant's death, several star kids have disabled their comments or taken haters head-on. There are abuses, conspiracy theories, some bordering on filth, on social media. But there is a conversation too. Our job is to listen to this conversation. To cut out the noise from this cacophony, but listen nevertheless. Of how Bollywood cliques, hand-in-hand with columnists, destroy people's public images. That talent should be the determining factor in who goes how far in the film industry, but seldom is.

The Bhatt brothers having seen Parveen Babi in him is an insult to our collective intelligence. It takes expertise to understand mental health issues. It takes nothing to declare someone troubled.

By now, a week after his death, his death has become about everything but the circumstances of his life and career. Mental health is a topic we can never talk enough about, but fronting mental health to avoid a conversation about the harsh realities of the film industry is a copout that will dismantle many more fragile minds of many more Sushant Singhs.

Sushant Singh Rajput did not die to 'expose' these Bollywood biggies. But his death can help expose a lot that Bollywood doesn't want seen. For that, a conversation is necessary. Not our quiet.

Sushant Singh Rajput deserves our voice, not quiet

Source: [https://www.dailyo.in/variety/sushant-singh-rajput-suicide-bollywood/story/1/33167.html](https://www.dailyo.in/variety/sushant-singh-rajput-suicide-bollywood/story/1/33167.html)

Celebrity suicides are not easy to come to terms with. They shake the very core of every single person who has had the opportunity to watch them, every single person who has known them, and every single person who themselves have thought of suicide as a way out. This form of an 'escape' as popular culture so wrongly puts it, is never quite explained. No one knows why a person would end their life. This life, that Bollywood has taught us to celebrate and make peace with. But *zindagi ka saath nibhate chale jaana* is not for everyone. *Har gham ko dhuwe mein udate chale jaana* is not for everyone. We will not know why people give up on life. Why Sushant Singh Rajput, who, by the societal yardstick had 'everything', would want to pull that noose on himself.

It has been a week since Sushant's death. India has gone from denial to shock to acceptance to conspiracy theories et al in these eight days. The media picked up the story and dissected it, laid it threadbare, but no one quite reached an answer. Because when someone dies by suicide, there is no answer. The person left without leaving an answer for his millions of grieving fans. So people tend to clutch on to bits of the past and piece together an answer. An answer that might help them cope with the loss of a loved one, as a certain big star put it in a late-night tweet yesterday. But we won't go to Salman Khan to ask for answers. We won't go to Karan Johar either. But it sure is time for a conversation.

After this suicide, an 'outsider' mutiny almost took over social media. It was heartening to see voices, a few, but still, voices, speaking out about why outsiders got a raw deal in Bollywood. How the cliques shut out anyone who did not belong and anyone who did not toe the line. In a world paved with the paparazzi, the one who dared to peer into his telescope and gaze at the stars up there instead of the ones on ground around him, was spoken of as a misfit.

The image of a star is more often than not manufactured. It is carefully constructed, by talent management agencies and production houses. Link-ups, break-ups, blinds; a lot of it is orchestrated by a few people in Bollywood who hold the strings to these. Sushant Singh Rajput tried to fit in, initially. We saw him performing at award functions, swallowing horrible jibes at his name and films, all for 'entertainment'. He got some of those awards. You please the powers, the powers please you. That's the nexus that has always been in place in Bollywood. But he 'got bored'.

Now many in Bollywood also happen to have 'friends' in the media. So when a certain actor - too bright by, again, society's definition of 'actors' - emerges and delivers hits, it is not taken lightly. I have seen an 'obituary' by an Editor of a gossip website who found Sushant Singh Rajput 'too arrogant'. In great detail, on the day of his suicide, this Editor went on to deconstruct this unusual hero of our times, who had 'no reason to be arrogant' because 'he was from television and not a breakout Bollywood star yet'. Not finding small-talk interesting is not arrogant. Being aloof to gossiping and pursuing one's passion is not weird.

But that's how images are created. When a star does not fall at an editor's feet, 'does not smile', he is immediately shunned as 'arrogant'. This Editor reveals in the course of that obit, that he had met Sushant twice. Twice. And in two times, the person passed that heavy judgment on the actor. On the very day that he died.

Another editor spent years writing 'blind' after 'blind' on Sushant Singh Rajput. On how he had 'the face of a truck driver', how he was an 'overpaid outsider', and how he was a 'skirt chaser'. These were all attributed to that Little Birdie who supposedly passed on this information to the writer of those blinds. The Little Birdie is usually someone with an

PR experts of the sub, please help us understand- What was SSR's media team doing all this time? Why were his qualities not known in the media?

# WHO MANAGED HIS PR AND WHY WAS IT SO BAD?

As far as I understand, the media relations team would have 2 primary jobs:

1. Highlight your client's best qualities and achievements in media and get positive publicity.
2. Protect the client from bad/negative publicity

They clearly failed in the second part. **SSR was a victim of continuous negative PR and that bothered him. He has specifically called out that in his interviews (contrary to what Rohini Iyer claims)**

**But what about his qualities. The guy was a borderline genius and a star in a country of 1.3Bn people.** His fandom on Twitter/IG was dedicated but small. They participated in book clubs and interacted with him. But it was small; clearly SSR needed professional help to develop his image at a scale. So, what was his PR team doing all this time?

* Where is his podcast where he could have interviewed scientist and experts, even his fans
* His You tube channel where he could discuss books
* His blog where he could write about philosophy
* His philanthropy highlighting he donated to Kerala floods, went to Nagaland , sent kids to NASA
* Endorsement by social activist since he refused to endorse fairness creams
* His photographs of galaxies highlighted in news.
* His videos on training in NASA.
* His book deal where he tells his story.

Nowadays "stars" doing jadu-poccha is news.

**SSR was soooooo talented. None of that came to mainstream media.**

Lauren Gottlieb's heartwarming conversation with SSR

>Today, I finally brought myself to look at my WhatsApp messages with Sushant over the years. I came across one conversation that broke my heart all over again, as it was filled with so much love, kindness, and true support for one another’s dreams! I felt a deep connection with Sushant as we were both “outsiders” and I looked up to him tremendously! I wanted to share this chat we had to remind everyone to walk, talk, and treat EVERYONE with this great amount of LOVE and SUPPORT as HE shared!!! I’m seeing so much hate going around. I do not want to tell anyone how to grieve, my process this week looked pretty ugly, BUT I think one of the BEST ways to honor his legacy is to BE THE BRIGHT, BEAUTIFUL, LOVING LIGHT that he exuded each and every day. The world is a better place because of Sushant’s humble heart. Let’s keep sharing his magic and be kind to one another 💖

Thought that is relevant today : Sara ali khan making sure her film's newbie arushi sharma does not hog the limelight

Do you all remember arushi sharma? The second actress of love aaj kal? She was absent in trailer launch event and was only been interviewed by some unknown journalists. On the other hand sara ali khan has given a chance to justify her bad acting in front of anupama chopra? There has been blinds that sara made sure her film is no way should seen as two heroine film.. The second actress hasn’t been spotted promoting the film..

In recent Abishek kapoor quoted in light of kedarnath that " Sushant was seeing he was not getting the same kind of love because everything was said about sara. Sushant was kind of lost ". Arushi sharma must have been gone through all this too! Why the outsiders are not given a chance to shine? Why do they snatch everything from them?

Sushant: A brilliant mind was taken down. Don't ever forget him.

I've read a lot of people saying Sushant's death was a murder. There are crazy evidences being brought, media reports. Self Investigations. That somehow a person came and hurt him and there was the diabolical collective behind this arrangement.

Don't for a second think, that it wasn't. It is more systemic, his career had been stagnated due to agendas, they were snatching from him the one thing that he loved above all and given decades of his life to. He was being robbed daily of his passion, something that he had left his education and future to be a part of.

It was dismantled bit by bit, in the media, in the fans, in the industry, in this subreddit. This is enough to drive most of us to the edge, the prospect of having no future. It is essential people remain outraged and never forget the actions of this Big Bollywood and their machinations. This is their real face, remind yourself and others now everytime you watch anything produced by Dharma, YRF and SKF. Switch the channel. Shit on them in your public life's with friends. Never forget or forgive any of their products, make them a liability into themselves.
Make them feel how Sushant must have felt, kyunki yeh suicide nahi tha.
