CW // War & Violence
an elementary school in Iran is now rubble, at least 85 girls between seven and twelve were killed in their classroom. their backpacks, their books, their lively mornings cut by violence decided and made far from classrooms and kitchen tables but consequences land on their small shoulders. let's call it what it is: war. without public mandate or collective consent, the United States has been pulled into a conflict whose cost will be measured in human lives and resources that should sustain families, education, and healthcare. no country has the right to decide the destiny of another sovereign people as a nation’s future belongs to its own citizens not to outside force. this is also a women’s issue. in every conflict, women and children absorb the impact: displaced first, bombed first, protected last. humanity is breaking again, perhaps more deeply than before. please don't look away.
